Privacy policy

Fit Yangu (“we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We handle personal data in line with Kenya's Data Protection Act, 2019.

Your measurements

Your body measurements are personal. We treat them with particular care.

• We measure you only with your consent, in store or online.
• In store, scan photos are deleted within 72 hours. We keep only the measurement numbers.
• Online, the size finder saves your measurements in your own browser, and only when you tick the consent box. They are not sent to our servers. You can download or delete them on the size finder page at any time.
• You can ask us to download, update or delete the measurements we hold for you at any time.

What we collect

• Contact details: your name, phone number, email and delivery address when you order, book or contact us.
• Order details: the items you buy, sizes, payment status and delivery information.
• Measurements: as described above, with your consent.
• Website analytics: only if you accept analytics, anonymous information about pages visited, collected with Plausible Analytics, which does not use cookies to track you across sites.

How we use your data

• To process and deliver your orders and bookings.
• To recommend sizes that fit you.
• To reply to your messages and provide customer service.
• To send new arrivals and offers, only if you sign up. You can unsubscribe at any time.
• To improve our website and services.

Sharing

We share data only with the service providers needed to run our business, such as payment providers (for example Safaricom M-Pesa), delivery partners and WhatsApp when you choose to message us there. We do not sell your personal data.

Your rights

Under the Data Protection Act, 2019, you can:

• be informed about how your data is used;
• access the personal data we hold about you;
• object to the processing of your data;
• ask us to correct or delete your data;
• receive your data in a portable format.

Cookies and local storage

Our website uses your browser's local storage to remember your shopping bag, your cookie choice and, if you agree, your fit profile. Analytics load only after you accept them in the cookie banner.

Keeping data safe and for how long

We protect personal data with appropriate technical and organisational measures, and keep it only as long as we need it for the purposes above or as the law requires.
